Courtney Portrait

I unfortunately forget this girl who was in my art class way back in 2008, back up in Michigan. I saw her a few times at our local super-market, but beyond that, all I remember of her is when I did this portrait of her. And unsurprisingly, this is still the best looking portrait/caricature I've ever done, mostly because of how how symmetrical the drawing is, how soft the lines are, how attractive her eyes are, and how cute her nose is. And I'm still just as proud of this image now as I was of it then. It really has not aged as badly as everything else from that year has.

I've yet to do a new caricature that looks quite as good or realistic, but I'm still pretty slick at capturing someone's likeness, especially with Billie Piper from Doctor Who:
