Bonbon_from Little Nemo

From Tokyo Movie Shinsha's "Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland," here is one of the high royal assistants, Bonbon.

I recently rewatched Little Nemo on the fantastic Blu-ray edition released by US anime distributor, Discotek; and I thought to myself, "this character is so adorable and quirky, and yet doesn't get a lot of screen time. She should have her own cult following." And truth be told, people have already done artwork of her, but I really think there ought to be more.

So just for fun, I tried my hand at doing a random piece of unplanned fanart, and came up with this little number. It's a bit off in places, and I'm absolutely terrible at coming up with flat colored backgrounds, but I really like how this turned out.

If you haven't seen Little Nemo in a while, go watch it when you get the chance; or just watch the review by the Nostalgia Critic; it's pretty hilarious.
